Details:

The LD‑1 leak detector helps identify and detect liquid leaks from inner tanks, containers or other liquid‑handling equipment.

The detector is typically installed in an external containment basin or collection sump where any leaked liquid would arrive first. To ensure the fastest possible detection, the sensor is placed low (as close as possible to the bottom of the collection sump or outer containment), allowing the float mechanism to react immediately to the presence of liquid and alert the user.
This results in faster response, reduced environmental risk and improved safety.
