Terms of Sale

Applicability and pricing

These terms apply to products sold in the online store. Product prices are displayed next to each item and do not include VAT. A delivery fee will be added to the total order. The delivery fee depends on the type of goods ordered and the Buyer’s location. The Buyer can see the delivery cost in the shopping cart once all desired items have been added. Product descriptions and other relevant information are displayed alongside each product.

Order cancellation and returns

Buyers have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded in the online store within 14 days of receiving the goods. This right does not apply to legal entities.

Products may be inspected to verify their suitability. To exercise the 14-day return right, goods must only be used as necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, and proper functioning, similar to how products are tested in a physical store. If goods have been used for purposes beyond this, or show signs of wear, the online store reserves the right to reduce the refund proportionally to the decrease in the product’s value.

Returned products must be in their original packaging and in the same condition as when delivered. If the product was delivered in parts or components, it must be returned in the same manner and packaging.

To return a product, please complete the return form available HERE and send it by email to info@tankler.ee within 14 days of receiving the goods. The Buyer bears the return shipping costs, except in cases such as incorrect or defective products.

The Buyer must return the goods within 14 days after submitting the return form or provide proof that the goods were handed over to the carrier within this period. Tankler will refund all payments received from the Buyer no later than 14 days after receiving the return form.

The online store may withhold refunds until it has received the returned goods or the Buyer has provided proof that the goods were sent back, whichever occurs first. If the Buyer has explicitly chosen a delivery method other than the store’s least expensive standard shipping option, the store is not required to refund any additional shipping costs.

The online store reserves the right to cancel a sales transaction and request the return of goods if the product price was significantly underpriced due to an error.

Exchange of goods

If the Buyer wishes to exchange a product, they must first return the original item and cover all related return costs. The Buyer can then place a new order in the online store. The store will refund the amount paid for the returned goods, provided the product is intact and undamaged.

Right to make a claim

The online store is responsible for goods sold that do not comply with the contract or have defects that existed at the time of delivery and become apparent within two years from the date of delivery. For the first six months after delivery, it is assumed that any defect existed at the time of delivery. The store has the obligation to rebut this assumption if applicable.

If a defect occurs, the Buyer must contact the store within two months by emailing info@tankler.ee or calling (+372) 50 56 214. The store is not responsible for defects that arise after the goods have been delivered. If a purchased product has a defect for which the store is responsible, Tankler will repair or replace the defective item. If repair or replacement is not possible, the store will refund all amounts paid under the sales contract. The store will respond to the Buyer’s claim in writing, or in a form that allows written reproduction, within 15 days.

Dispute resolution

If the Buyer has any claims regarding the online store, they should send them by email to info@tankler.ee or call (+372) 50 56 214.

If the Buyer and the online store cannot resolve a dispute amicably, the Buyer may turn to the Consumer Disputes Board. Information about the procedure and how to submit a claim can be found HERE. The Consumer Disputes Board is authorized to resolve disputes arising from contracts between the Buyer and the online store. Reviewing a claim at the Board is free of charge.

The Buyer may also contact the European Union platform for online dispute resolution HERE.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable to the other, nor shall any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these terms be considered a breach, if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond the party’s reasonable control (force majeure). The party affected by a force majeure event shall make all reasonable efforts to minimize the consequences of the event.
